Back from the hospital

I had Intussusception(it's where your intestines grow inside themselves kinda like a telescope) and had to have emergency surgery last week. From what the surgeon says I almost died and if my husband hadn't forced me to go in I would have died. Anyway I am feeling better everyday. I was in a lot of pain for awhile and still have pain but it seems to help being home and not fighting with Dr. "House" and his team everyday. This guy reminded me so much of House. He was absolutely brilliant but very arrogant and a huge ego and like I said he also had a team but his had like 10 people. At 5:30 am everyday we had Q&A with everyone for about 30 minutes because I guess my case was quite rare especially in adults but it was getting too much and after a week I just wanted to come home. I also was having pain management issues and it seemed as if they just kinda gave up on me because I can't swallow pills and can't tolerate the sugar in elixirs due to the WLS.

Holly, Glad you're home and glad you listened to hubby and took yourself in to get checked. I hope you're more comfortable now and able to rest. Brenda
