So do you think it is too soon?

It's been 2 weeks since my surgery. Do you think it is too soon to go for an hour walk? I don't plan on power walking but a decent pace. It's killing me....I want to get back into my routine. I'm embracing my weightloss that came along with this bowel obstruction. Want to take advantage of it and make sure I keep it off and keep losing. Take care, Carey

I think I'd try a 20 - 30 minute walk to start with Carey.  You're still coming back from major surgery and you don't want to tire yourself out to quickly.  I'm glad you are feeling good enough to do it.

Sexy Hot Mamma!!!!!    NIIIIICCCCEEEEE pic!!!  You look awesome.  My surgeon is on vacation.  Waiting for him to get back.  I actually went out for an 1 and 25 min.  Took it slow, did over 4 miles.  My belly was sore....  Took some Tylenol when I got home and today I feel good.  Normally I would walk 4 miles in 50 min. so I took it pretty slow.   Carey

I think if you just keep it at a slow pace and DONT wave your arms like a crazy woman you will be just fine! LOL If it is really hot make sure to take some water with you. Suzanne

Yeah, I took it real slow.  Took me 1 hr & 25 min to do a little over 4 miles - normally I do it in 50 min.  No swinging arms yesterday - that's for sure.  I could definitely feel it in my belly.  But I feel good today.  Yes, I took my water - definitely needed it.  I did a little water aerobics in my pool too.  Trying to get my energy back - build up my stamina.
