Bay City Support Group Mtg - Wed July 18

Hi everyone- I told Toni I would host the July meeting; but was busy on the 11th.   Toni posted the fact.   She and others were waiting for me to decide what we would have to eat.  I procrastinated as it's been busy and I also dislike cooking this time of year.   I have decided to have a potluck salad as it really is too hot to cook.  I'll have lettuce, onion, ham, and chicken for the salad.  Additionally, I'll have cottage cheese and yogart for those unable to eat salad.   If you are still interested in meeting on the 18th, please let me know.  I see where Phyllis is planning her meeting for this Thursday.  If everyone is able to make it  on Thursday and don't want to meet next Wednesday; I will gladly cancel mine.   Please let me know.

Don't you dare cancel ours Dora!  I'll be there with bells on and even took a couple hours off work so I could be on time.   I'll bring some chopped veggies (of some sort) for the salad bar and a bottle of dressing.  Love the idea of a salad bar.  Not only is it too hot to cook this time of the year, it's too hot to eat hot food too! I'll have to check our member list to see if I have your address.  Otherwise I'll be sending an email asking for directions. See you next week! Pam

Thanks Pam! I have been contacted by a few others.  We will go ahead. Chopped Veggies would be great.   Another idea for others would be fresh fruits.  We have so many Michigan grown fruits available right now.  If someone wants to make a fruit dip (sugarless of course). I live at 9925 Junction Rd (known as Genesee St in town) in Frankenmuth.  Second house west of Dehmel Rd (one mile west of Main St) on the north side. My cell phone # is 989 284-1119. If you want to bring a lawn chair, we will be outside if it's nice like today.  I have a really big yard.  If it's hot we'll be inside by the air conditioner. Everyone is welcome - Pre or Post.

Fruit Dip... yeah... like whoever brought the kulula fruit dip last time is welcome to bring it again.  And I just bought an awesome new lawn chair, glad I'll have a spot to try it out instead of storing it in the backseat of my car.  LOL! Pam

Just because we post as the Bay City Group doesn't mean we are a "Bay City Group".  We met for many years in Bay City and just picked up that name.  We have people coming from Bridgeport, Clio, Sebewaing, Saginaw, Freeland, etc.   Everyone is welcome.  If it fits into your schedule, do come.  We officially start at 6:30, but come early if you like.   We're very informal and always would like to meet a new friend.
