Sherry, you might not be eating enough calories.  We are basicly cavemen.  Our body will find a way to hold on to things if it thinks it is not going to be fed for a while.  I eat about 1500-1700 calories a day, but when I am not recovering from a tummy tuck, I am VERY diligent with exercise.  It is all about balance.  But I live by the concept of eat like a king for breakfast, like a queen at lunch and like a pauper for dinner.  This way, I get my metabolism revved up in the morning, and I keep it fueled through the day, but I do not much after 3PM.  This has worked for me.  I am very rigid with my diet, by eating the same things EVERY day for breakfast and lunch, with snacks at the same time every day.  Dinner I eat a rotating variety of foods.   The scale is going to stop many times, but it will pick up again.  Try not to get too focused on the scale, how are your clothes fitting?  Good luck.   Carol

One of the biggest misunderstandings from people who are early post-ops involves the scale being stuck and eating too few calories.  I know because I did the same thing.  How could eating too few calories make us hold our weight.  Your body does remarkable things to stay in balance.  Eating too few calories causes your body to hold on to the fat rather than burn it.  If you are only eating 700-900 calories at 3 months out, you should up it by 200-300 calories and see what happens.  The scale will move.  Also try varying what you eat. I am 1 months out and just started solid foods.  My general day is as follows

Breakfast - protien bar or shake   Morning snack - fresh fruit 1/4 c and string cheese Lunch -  1/2 c soup or turkey and cheese Afternoon Snack - 1 oz chedder cheese & 2-3 whole wheat crackers Pre supper - Blue Bunny Sweet Freedom Smoothie Supper - Generally 1-2 oz fish or shrimp or turkey and either vegetable or fruit Evening snack - sugar free fudgesicle I also do protien slam from GNC if I need the extra protien.  I always make sure that I hit my protien goal and get my water in.   I am down 40 pounds.  I do not do alot of sugar free things because they do not agree with me at all.   Chicken does not agree with me very well, unless I make a pureed chicken salad.   Bread is my enemy sits like a led brick. Hope this hellps Pam
