Boogie Fever

first off, i want to be clear here, i was not at a disco last night.  never happened.  must be a case of mistaken identity. that being said, i just want to thank everyone who was with us last night. i had a great time. it meant a lot to me to be able to go out with a group of people and feel comfortable.  to feel respected and liked.  to feel like i belonged.  it's been a very long time since i've been out with a group like that. It was fun.  we should definitely do more things like that in the future.  

Jay your welcome! Although I feel the same. I had a great time. I danced my butt off! I loved every minute of it. I think we all had a great time and we should definately go out and do these things more often! Maybe a little less drinking from some of us! LOL (secrets are safe with me girls)  It was nice to have a small enough group that we were not overwhelmed with trying to talk to one another and Boogie Fever was actually a nice place. I had no problem with it at all.  I will be sending PMs to those that were there to see the pics. I will post a group shot on my profile. Suzanne

My gold speedo, errr, I mean star, of the night goes to Jay. He's my new hero (even though he wasn't really there).  It was really fun hanging out with you! Rebecca gets the "coming out of her shell party animal" award! So where is our next adventure taking us?  I figure if we're going to get anything planned within the next 3 months we should start now!  Maybe we'll plan something on this end of town?

thx brenda , i will cherish my award, i had a good time even though i had to leave early cause of sunday commitments. i  am a early to bed and really early to rise person, can't sleep past 0430 even on the weekends. good idea about a next date , i am having my yard sale next weekend 18/19 selling misc clothes, kitchen stuff, a laptop and desk computers, and what ever else i can find. this week is going to hard for me cause my sister passed away last aug 16,06 so need to keep busy , i will visit her and my parents on friday.  anyway, every one was alot of fun and thx for dancing with me i am a little shy, i am open for anything at this point in my life so you suggested line dancing at a country bar, i don't know of any around here,. bring it on !!

Hey Jay, You don't have to worry about me admiting to ANYTHING!!!! My lips are sealed! I had such a good time with everyone. It was a lot of fun getting out on the dance floor and shaking our tail feathers!!! Mel is my new hero, thanks for saving me on the dance floor!!! She is my soul sister! Even though I am still recouping from last night, can't wait to do it again!!! It was such a pleasure seeing everyone again and meeting new faces.

As my inaugural OH outing, I had a blast.  I obviously don't get out much!  LOL!  Honestly, I'm a total home-body.   But once I got there, it was so much fun.  I thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone....putting names to REAL people.  I even danced (for part of a song)!  AND I DON'T DANCE.....EVER!!!  Hope to see everyone, again, soon!  Tina
