i need a donut - OT

I am bummin' hard.  it seems that Kai will never see God.  After one awesome season finale two nights ago, that was soooo good, but left so many more questions than answers, HBO pulled the plug on my favorite TV show, John from Cincinatti.  I know it's a small little tiny thing in the big scheme of things but it's one of the few things this summer that relaxed, interested and challenged me intellectually.  I was sooo into this show.  I'm really really bummed over this. I really want a donut.  btw, i blame you all for no****ching!  dang it.  TV is so rarely that good.  And almost never that challenging. 

"My father says that was one strange show"  I kep****ching it thinking I'd start to get it, but never did.  Didn't get to see the finale due to my surgery, will have to catch it on demand when I get home.  --Sax

i'm not sure what "getting it" means to be honest.  in my opinion there were a lot of things we were not supposed to know for sure and were left to interpret for ourselves.  i was never even sure exactly what John was (Christ? Angel? Alien?****il the last episode and even then i'm not 100% certain. I think the show tried very hard to challenge us to think and feel while being entertained.  And i found it extremely entertaining.  i loved the acting and the only character i really had a hard time with was Cissy. I never bought into her anger. I hope your recovery goes well.
