Well, surgery was yesterday morning and the dr. released me today.  I'm feeling pretty good, and I absolutely love my surgeon (Dr. S).  I took a number of walks yesterday and have made a little loop at my parents house (where I'm staying for the week).  Things seem to be going very well, but I will say that I'm surprised at how much it hurts!!!  I'm glad to be on the losers bench with all of you and looking forward into getting the swing of things.  It sure is an exciting and scary time going into surgery and the first couple of days post-op --Sax

Welcome to the loser's bench!  Take it easy and do what you are supposed to do.  Happy melting! Jon

Welcome to the losers bench.  It is a rough ride in the beginning, but you will do fine... just don't do too much too soon.. take it easy and let your body heal... Keep walking and keep sipping... Best of luck to you...

Well congrats to you! I have not had the surgery yet. I'm waiting for a date. Sounds like you are in great spirits and doing well. I wish you all the best! Jen
