It has been a little over a year now since my best friend, my sister passed away and i need to move on. i got my brother moved to a better place, with thx to brenda and shawn dh i have enrolled at wayne county com college to finish my degree in criminal justice, i had to stop over 10 yrs ago when my mother first became ill,we took care of her until my  other brothers pushed us out., then other things happen one after another, but i am only 12 classes to my goal !!! i hope that i can keep up with the classes, my math is lousy and the one class i fear is natural science w/ lab !! i will save that one for last mainly because its 6 hrs. besides i do need to continue to work.  so if any one has any good internet links for study info , let me know, i will check with wcccd for tutor. wish me luck,

What a big step for you! I am so proud of you for taking this step for you to take care of yourself. Dont let the workload intimidate you. Use the tutors and the instructors to the best of their ability. I miss going to school and wish I could go back. Let me know if you ever need to vent! Suzanne

Oh yeah I am so ready for the tuck. I cannot wait to get it over with and see what my flat belly is going to look like. I have waited so long and fought so much for this. How are things with work?

Good for you Rebecca.  I wish you much luck and I'm sure you'll do well in your classes.  It took me a while after my husband had a cardiac arrest for me to realize I had to do something for me.  That's when I took the first step to the surgery that changed my life.  You are embarking on a big step into a new life and you deserve it.

Yay for you Rebecca! It's taken me 10 years just to get my two year degree (which I should have after the Winter semester) so I know it's hard to go back after a long time off. Good Luck with the classes.....I know you'll be a great student.  Math was my worst subject, so I can't help there, but I'm sure they can at the college. We're so proud of you!

I am trying, hopefully for the last time, to get my associate's degree, at least in general studies, so I know what you are expereincing as far as classes are concerned. My big step is getting back into the workforce as I have been disabled for over 17 1/2 years.  I am working 15 hours a week at the college work-study.  So far so good!!
