6 month update
Well today is 6 months since I had RNY in Michigan with Dr Kam at Barix.
I feel amazing! I work out 5 times a week 3 of those times with a trainer. I am down 84.5 pounds I went from a size 22/24 to a 10(and they are getting big). Today I cut my long blond hair and colored it a different color(brown) when I take pics I will post them.
Most people don't recognize me which is awesome. I even don't recognize me when I catch my reflection in the mirror I am like who is that woman staring back at me.
It is all very kewl I am so Happy. Tomorrow I go see my mum and sister I have not seen them in 2 years. The last time I saw them I weighed 280 pounds and Now I am 169 so overall I am down 111 from my highest weight 2 years ago. I told my mum not to stare at me..LOL I can't help staring at me. I suddenly have collar bones and this morning I was able to see my neck muscles too.
I have never once regretted having this WLS it is the best thing I have ever done. My 6 month Labs came back perfect too. I rejoice in the fact that I am no longer diabetic, or have cholestrol issues or BP problems , I feel lighter I walk faster my lower back does not hurt anymore, The only thing is I can't cheat.. I cannot fall off the Diet wagon... and the truth is I don't want to. I am happy I can't, I know I will lose the next 34 pounds by my Birthday in February... and I will Never be able to put it on again. That is my gift to me.. I have given myelf the gift of life. My Life. I have one now and I will never give it up!!..LOL
anyways thanx to all of you for always being there..
Love ya all
XOXO
Well I know you don't really know me or anything but reading your post I had to write something. I am only 16 days post op and can't imagine 6 months down the road yet. You have done fantastic!!! You deserve tons of replies on this post. I know that may not happen as not every one wants to post something. But there's no denying how far you've come and that fact that you are a success. I'm so proud of you that I even got a huge smile on my face this early in the morning. Keep up the positive attitude and enjoy every minute of finding the you that was trapped inside.
Best Wishes,

Congrats! Thank you so much for sharing with all of us. Getting rid of all those medical issues must feel really great too. I'm sure you're family is very proud of you.
