ANY YOOPERS OUT THERE??

Hi Cathy, I am here... I am still trying to get to the support group you told me about.... seems like there has been something going every time one comes around...  It is nice to see that there are other yoopers out there... I keep watching. 

 

hey   nice to see you here. do you have a surgery date yet? are you still doing the band ?

I decided against the band and am working towards RNY... no date yet because my insurance requires a 12-month medically supervised diet before they will cover it... I am working on that now... so most likely will not happen until July/August 2008. Keep me updated on the support group and I promise I will make it to one of them soon.

Hi there,  I am a yooper too!  Just had surgery 3 weeks ago.  I am finally starting to feel like I might live through it!!!!!!

tiz, hope you start feelingbetter soon. where in the U.P. are you?

I am from the Newberry area..  I am 3 weeks past my surgery and finally feeling great.  I am back to work  and back on a normal schedule.  I'm amazed there are finally some yoopers on here.                                                                                                                    Tiz

i'm a yooper in iron mountain....originally from green bay...go packers!!  it would be great to have a yooper get together.  kathy

wow cool. I love seeing you guys all popping up :) I was in Iron Mt. today. had lunch with a good friend of mine who lives in florence. she used to teach at kingsford high school. actually her daughter had RNY a couple years ago too.. Id love a get together. maybe in the spring?
