I've posted a few times on here but have been checking out the other message boards. They seem to have more people posting so they have lots of topics to read through. I guess maybe Michigan people are more lurkers than posters, lol.

Hope everyone is doing well.

I'm currently 2 weeks out from the sleeve procedure.  I've already lost 20 pounds and lots of inches.   I feel the best I have in a long time.  I'm looking foward to Monday so I can start eating real food.  Hope all the Michiganders are well along with everyone else. MJ

Hi Linda, I'm doing better. I have had a couple weeks with no weight loss so I stopped weighing myself every day. I do once a week. So this past Tuesday was my 5 week mark and I was down 32.5 pounds. Not sure on the inches yet though.  I am on soft foods, which is good. Still drinking my Isopures. I started back at the guym this past Monday so I do about 28 minutes on the bike and get 5.6 miles in that time. I'll start increasing next week. I did dump though...ugh. On lean turkey lunch meat. So not sure if I'll ever eat that again. It as gross. But all in all the energy level is back up and I get to get regular foods starting next week. So look for a message from me as I'll need your expert advice on what to eat, lol Take care and hope to talk to you soon. Jen

Great things to share?  Mmm..... how about the fact that I FINALLY have a surgery date?!  Is that great enough?  All my pre-admission testing is done.  Been to the nutrition class.  Start my 2 week liquid diet on Monday.   Amazing that things are moving so fast.  November 13th will be here before I know it. Well I am new here too.  I have to wait for my ins to switch in jan we all know the PPO's will pay more.  This site is  great I have gotten so much info.  I saw my PCP today and she is all ready to write my letter for surgery. I can not wait , now if only my B/F  would be a little more supportive he always looks at the negative and what could go wrong.  Of course he also thinks I should eat less and exercise more that would solve everything. He is just close minded but I will not him discourge me.  Hope all of you stay warm and dry. Angela
