Are we there yet??
How you kids doing? I hope of youse guys are doing well.
I have found another item that helps me in my quest for healthy Kevin,,,
Twin Labs Iron. It's a small capsule and it is chelated.
It's claiming to be all natural and it isn't clogging the pipes so to speak. It seems to be agreeing with my system. along with the Country life Multis and the B complex sub-lingual I think I have it covered.
Anyone else using these?
I doubled up on them when Dr. Kole called me to tell me my iron was low. Before I was only taking them twice a week.

"Go sell crazy somewhere else; we're all stocked up here."
Where are you purchasing these iron pills? I'm sick of the HemoPlex I take. Ah heck I can do a search online. I forgot I'm not in MI anymore LOL.
Was up there for a visit with my in-laws and it's COLD. Just got back Christmas Eve. Got to spend time with our 3 beautiful grandkids. Those girls are so special and I soaked up all the hugs and kisses I could get from them.
Happy Holiday's!

Trying to get the levels up from anemia, I take Hemaplex in the morning and either my third shot of calcium (1500 mg is goal, 500 at a time) or a Twin Labs iron capsule at bed time. They don't bother the pouch and they aren't binding me up. Twin Labs has a good multivitamin in a capsule as well, and calcium citrate in caps as well. Look out on the calcium though. Each cap is only 150 mg so youse gotta take more.
I've been told not to take iron and calcium within two hours of each other. Also that we GAPs don't absorb more than about 500-600 mg of calcium at a time.
Another thing came up at my last blood check. Many, many middle -aged folks are showing up with Vitamin D shortages per my dietician. WLS folks and normals, too. So, when youse guys are getting blood work done, ask specifically for D to be checked. I'm supplementing now.
And what is this middle-aged stuff, anyway? Middle ages, that's where I'm from.
Twin Labs are avail from Vitacost.com for about the best price, or at Meijer. I got a few bottles of the multis there on the clearance rack.
Hi Kevin! Just popping in to say hello!! With the comment about the gas, I just have to tell you the funniest thing my husband said the other day. I still sit here giggling when I think about it! He said he is going to invent something for us WLS people, or at least for me...here it is...
Rubber underwear with a hose that goes out the window of either the car or the bedroom!! He said it would have to have elastic around the legs and waist just like the old rubber pants they used to use with diapers on kids. TOOOOOOOO FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Actually, it's kinda sad....poor guy!:-) I told him that this invention may be our ticket to riches!!
Glad you are getting the iron under control. I am using a chelated iron now too (can't remember the name), but no more iron problems, no more restless leg syndrome either since I've been taking them, which is a huge blessing.
Happy New Year buddy! T
