I cannot believe it, BCBS policy change has enabled my surgery to get scheduled before a prior authorization. Looks like it will be middle/end of February. I'll update when actual date is. I'm so psyched!!!

Jenn-The meeting is at the professional building. Dr. Yenumula, a plastic surgeon, and a MAC trainer will be there. It is from 7-8:30. My flier is at home so I don't know what floor etc. I looked on the Sparrow Weight Management website though and they are having a special presentation on January 30th on An Overview of Weight Loss Surgery. The website is sparrowweightmanagement.com.

Ok, I found the information on meetings at Sparrow Health Center:

2008 Sparrow Bariatric Support Groups:

Our 2008 monthly support groups are scheduled for the 2nd Thursday of each month from 7:00-8:30 pm at the Sparrow Professional Building (SPB), 1200 E. Michigan Avenue, Conference Rooms F & G (2nd floor).

I didn't need pre authorization with BCBS comm blue either, my surgery is scheduled for 1/28! What a thrill this is, from snail like progress toward surgery to a rocket ship. Some days it's hard to wrap my head around! Good Luck to you! Keke
