Yes!  I have a new exercise tool and companion, it is my new little "Rosie" she is my new Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppie and so wonderful to have.  I just love her so much and she loves me right back and doesn't talk back either.  And is unbelievably smart.  I just had to brag...... Thanks, Patti

Hi Patti, Did you get Rosie from a breeder?  I ask because we've promised our son we'd get a puppy but haven't found the right breed yet.  My husband suggested a Welsh Corgi and I'm currently researching to see if that's the dog for us. I'm hoping to get a new friend that will walk with me, just like you did!

Yes I did get her from a breeder in Ohio.  I was in the same place as you, my kids have always wanted a puppy and so I did the research and I really did not want a big dog and I didn't want a small foo foo dog because it wouldnt be fair to my son to have a girly dog and I wanted the dog small enough to be easy to take in the car becuse I come and go so often.  My husband suggested a welsh corgi and I was against it because owners start looking like their dogs and corgis are dwarf dogs and I am only 5' 1".  But the more research I did and narrowed it down to the few dogs I would want the wels corgi bacame more and more appealing.  Their are  2 kinds, Pembroke and Cardigan, we have a pembroke they are smaller and more proportion to their size.  I did alot of research and found calling the breeders and talking to them I learned alot too, they are more than happy to answer any questions you have.  A good breeder has plenty of patience on the phone with you.  Also petfinder.com is a great site.  I hope this helps, you.  And just so you know I am not an "animal/pet person" but since we have rosie she has changed all that.  corgis are smart easy to train great with kids and what more can I say.   If you need any info that I can help you with feel free to contact me.  Good luck!
