yes!! it has been a process... so God willing 6 weeks from tonight i will be doing the weight loss shuffle around the nurses station.... i believe that the past 3 years have really prepared me for this life changing event... and things that are worked hard for, are well worth the wait!!!! :) 6Weeks and counting!! Hey.....tomorrow will be one week that I had this surgery and I am amazed at how well I am doing. The one thing that is kinda getting to me is trying to get in all the protein  I can being on liquids. I have not found a favorite flavor, or I am just tired of not being able to chew any foods yet. That phase will start in a few weeks.......i can't wait. Some hummus on a rye cracker sounds mouth watering to me right now. I am driving so hey, I have no complaints with pain. I can tell you  are so excited for your March 3rd date, and you are doing so well with your eating....I'm proud of ya girl. Hang in there, Colleen
