HELP!!!NE1 turned down cuz of weight gain?? between initial consult and preop consult?

all dr's are different, but I was told if I gained weight it told them I was not serious about the surgery, and could not handle the life style changes that come along with it.  It shows them you have no will power.  Also told, if I cheated on the 2 week diet he would know and see poop and would close me back up.  I guess he did that before.  Who knows.  Like I said, everyone is different.  m Maybe there is something in what you are eating you body just does not want to get rid of, and is storing it for some reason or another.  Just call and tell them what is going on. Okay just a thought but was that the first time you weighed on that new scale?  I bet if you line up your old scale and your new scale they will not say the same thing.  Try weighing on your old one and the new one and seeing if there is a difference....

see the thing is i was going to the doc once a month for monitored weight loss and the last time i went was December.... sooo like a good girl wanting to stay on track i had to buy a scale of my own..... soooo unfortunately there is no old scale to compare too.... i never wanted to be a slave to the scale and at one point weighing well over 400.....i never wanted to get on one...... soooo will have to take this as a starting point and work out hard,... eat better and talk to the nut tomorrow,.... but thanks for the suggestion!!! :) Kandy

Next time you see your doc, weigh at home first, then weigh in there and compare.  I know the difference between my scale, the scale at work (hospital), OB/GYN and PCP!  I'm obsessive though...
