Move & Grove 3/17
Sorry I didn't post over the weekend. I spent the weekend in Clare at the St. Patty's Fest. I actually did the 5K (3.1 miles) run on Saturday. I couldn't run the whole thing, but I ran most of it and walked when I needed a break. I finished in 36 mins. It was a huge accomplishment since I would never even dreamed about it 18mos ago. Honestly, I haven't exercised since Saturday. My legs are still a little sore. My plan is to walk/run again tomorrow. I wanted to give my body a little recovery time. What did you do this weekend and today?

You have to help me out here.'
I have been training for the River Run in Grand Rapids in May I thought(which is a problem when I start thinking) that a 5k was 3.6 miles) so I have been running 4.2 miles to make sure I had the endurance to do it. I was up to 4.2 minutes, so I would be ready by May 10th..(plus we have a run down in my area called the run through Pergutory that is all hills and backwoods area shortly after.)
It is fantastic that you completed it, but I am almost afraid of the answer. Is it really only 3.1 miles? Should I start going to a bar and drowning my ignorance in not realizing the difference? ( I was listening to my husband/ Congrats on finishing. I was not planning on running the whole way and now I am almost afraid that I might start slacking on my workouts, so maybe "lie' to me and tell me that it is 3.6 miles.(just kidding)
