OT - GR Ladies - Anyone use Large & Lovely Consignment shop?

Yes, I used them to sell a lot of my large-sized items after I lost weight. They insist on having everything on hangers and having them ironed; also free of any pet hair (that was a problem for me since i have three cats and regardless of how much I brushed the hair off at home, it would land back on the clothes. After awhile, they got to know me that the clothes were clean except for the hair and they would do the brushing). They will give you your hangers back if you request it. If you want your unsold items back, you have to call to get them. You can extend the selling period for unsold items also.  They are picky about what they take in now because it's such a small place. But the clothes do sell well. I had good success with almost all of my items. After awhile, if it didn't sell, I would just let her donate it.  Good luck on your upcoming surgery date ... hope it works out for you.
