Every surgeon is different. Do you hav a preop visit with your surgeon? You can call and talk to the nurse tomorrow. BTW...my surgeon only requires clear liquids the day before and no bowel prep. That is for the lap band though. But on the lapband board some people have to do 2 weeks of preop liquids, so it varies greatly. Good luck!

Congats!! April Fools Day! That will be one to remember. I am sceduled for April 2, so we are real close. As for the liquid diet all surgeans are diffetent on there requirements. Where are you having yours done at? I am on day 7 of a 2 week liquid diet and it is not so bad after about 4 days. My sister had hers done and had no liquid diet except for the one day before surgery. So it all depends. Best of luck to you and I will see you on the loser's bench. Let us know how it goes for you.
