Ethnic foods

While grocery shopping I decided to check out some of the food in the ethnic section.  I found some Indian food.  I bought a few things and the one I am trying right now is Lentil Curry.  It is all natural and no preservative.  It isn't too bad!  Pretty spicy, but has a good flavor.  Per serving is has: 126 calories, 4.2 g fat (1.3 g sat fat), no  cholesterol, 416.3 mg sodium, 15.9 g carbs, 3.4g fiber, and 6.2g protein.  It has 2-3 servings per packet and even eating 2 servings I don't think the totals are too bad....Am I right?  I like the fact that it doesn't have high fructose corn syrup or hydrogenated oils. I also heard last night that sea cucumbers are high in protein.  I don't even know what one of those are. Has anyone scouted out ethnic food for good WLS meal options?

Those imaginary tortilla chips are delicious!!  I always love Mexican food - that is my favorite!  I also enjoy some indian food - hubby and I used to do an indian lunch buffet back in my overeating days.  I haven't been to one since, but occasionally we get an indian dish carry-out and share it for dinner. (I love that Naan... which I now avoid, but my mouth is watering just thinking of it. I guess I will have to try the "imaginary naan" next time! hehe)  I've never bought any indian cuisine from the supermarket though.
