Surgery date- is my birthday

The new surgery date is April 29th.  Time tbd. I will be going over alone-and I'm strong enough to do this. If anyone wants to come in the morning and sit with me, please feel free. I'll post details later. Right now I'm pretty shaken up and just wanted to let everyone know that of all dates to have surgery, it's my birthday.  Thanks Shannon for posting about the postponement. Maybe it was meant for it to be on your birthday.  I am sorry I cannot help at that time, just starting my new job and I cant take the 2nd day off...lol  Like I said I can come after work then bring u back to my house like we planned before....let me know but I think that will work.... Shannon

Stacey,  It has been so long since I have posted and I am out of the loop but are you haveing the surgery here in Mt P.?  If so I will be more than happy to come and sit with you.  I work 3rds still but am only a few blocks from the hospital and I am off on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Thusdays until Mid Night so if you need anything just let me know. Thanks Georgia, Its down in Ypsi at Barix. I've got plans made already........somewhat. I'll be ok.  just need to get through today, it's been really tough. Stacey

(((((((((((((Stacey)))))))))))))))  I can only imagine how upset you must be... At least it is just around the corner and not months away.... What time would you want someone there... I could come after I get the kids off to school if you need me to, I would just need to know exactly where it is... I can probably find that out on their website though... 

 

Let me know if you want me to come... of course if you are already in surgery by 9:30 then it would almost be pointless.... 9:30 is about the soonest I can make it there...  You will make it through the next 2 weeks and all will be well... Just remember that thing happen for a reason and I am sure it meant to work out this way....

((((((((((((Shawn)))))))))))))))  These things happen for a reason like Shannon said.  Nonetheless, I would imagine I'll be in surgery by 930am.........last I had heard at PATS, (pre op tests) was that I had to be at hospital at 545am.  That may change, and I won't know until about a week or so before the date. It would be nice to have someone there when I am out of surgery and call my Mom & Shannon to let them know how I am and what room I'm in........I can tell the PS that you will be waiting in the lobby.   Just look for the skinny gal, right?  lol It's up to you- I will have more details as they become available.  The one thing I forsee is that it being my birthday, we would have one heck of a party at Barix that afternoon, me on drugs and everyone else --eating sf cake???????? lol I'll keep you posted.  Thanks a billion - Shannon will be over after she gets out of work to make sure I get my popsicles.  Hugs to you Stacey

Man Stacey I am sorry scheduling was messed up but it sounds like you have it under control. Here's hoping these next 2 weeks will fly by faster than a horse fly flies..

Stacey, I would love to be there for you!  I can try and work something out at work if you would like.  I can't imagine how strange it would be to not have someone there for you.  Please let me know. Jenn
