I stopped in to see her but didn't stay long. She was looking good and looking forward to getting up and moving around.  She was having a hard time staying awake, so I just talked with her for a few minutes and let her get some rest.

I spoke to Gwen on the phone today at about 1pm. She is still having some nausea, so it looks like she may be staying in the hospital another night. Her husband and children did visit her today as well. She sounded pretty upbeat on the phone.. but she said the nausea is still an issue for her. Send some good vibes her way!!

I am so glad to hear that Gwen is doing OK.  We have been out of town and I was wondering how she was doing.  Tell her that I am praying and thinking about her and wish her a speedy recovery and that the nausea goes away Bernice

Thanks Wigglypoo for updating.  I'm home!! Yay!!  Yes, the nausea kicked my butt.  From the sounds of it only maybe 10-15% get it as bad as I did (to the point of retching and vomiting) but, as they said it would, it did go away.  I know there was a few times I was wondering if I'd done the right thing, but now that I am feeling more human, life is good. I had little pain meds at all.  I pushed the button 3-4 times total to administer it and that was because the one nurse suggested seeing if it would help the nausea.  It did - it knocked me out! :D  The drive home was the most painful and that was the bumps in the pharmacy parking lot. I slept a lot last night so I am a little foggy this morning.  But I have been up and moving and getting rid of the water I've been retaining.  I came home 13 lbs heavier than I went in.  Now it is only about 5lbs. I am also sipping away at my liquids....which I haven't mastered yet.  I think I gulp too much air and I get real bloated, but I am still in the baby step stage.  It will come around. Thanks for the well wishes everyone! Gwen
