Has anyone talked to Gwen today?

I have called up to Blodgett a couple times today, but the phone just rings and rings. I would assume that she is out of the room or maybe even got to go home, but I wouldn't think they would still connect me if she was discharged. Any updates from anyone else? 

Hi-ho! I got my walking papers around 5pm and was sprung about 6pm.  Sorry I didn't get on when I got home to update, but I was kind of sore from the ride home - actually the bumps going into the pharmacy parking lot were what hurt (dh went a bit slower on the way out - thankfully).  I also felt pretty bloated.  I drank a lot of unjury and water up to the time I was leaving and I think I over did it.  The nurse said she wasn't impress with the liquids I was getting in so I was pretty much forcing it down so I could go home. I am so glad to hear you are home!  I tried to respond yesterday but the site wouldn't let me.  I kept getting a weird message.   It sounds like you are doing quite well!  I too had nausea but it went away soon.  Just keep sipping and walking! {{HUGS}} Carole

Gwen, I am glad you are home letting family pamper you.I remember how nice it felt to get in that easy chair and wasn getting my temperature taken every hour, Those care rides can be a little bumpy- especially the ones right around Blodgett.(A goog reason for the extrapillow) Glad that the nausea has passed and just take the fluids slowly. You will start to feel like the glass is attached to your hand- but little sips all day long seems to work best at the first... AmyH
