Another MMPC ?? Birth Control

The reason for using two forms of birth control is to make sure you do not get pregnant in the first 18 month post op. During that time frame most women aren't getting in enough vitamins and minerals to sustain themselves. Will a tiny little embryo be able to grow into a healthy normal sized baby if the odds are against him/her to start with? Sometimes they do. Do you really want to take the chance of becoming pregnant and having a unhealthy baby? Besides, it's a lot cheaper to prevent a pregnancy than it is to have a baby, especially an unwanted baby.

Wow-this post was completely offensive to me. There is no such thing as an unwanted child in my life, nor would there ever be. I'm very well aware of why it's so important not to get pregnant within the 18 month time frame-I believe I said that in my original post. I don't want  to take a chance of getting pregnant-that's why I posted this question. Please go back & reread my original post. I'm questioning the contract that needs to be signed & what types of birth control are going to be acceptable. I'm on a very limited budget until I can get back to work, I have a significant co-pay for surgery & I don't have hundreds of dollars available at this time. If others can advise me to other forms of bc at cheaper prices, it's a win win all around. I haven't needed birth control in years, besides condoms occasionally when getting pregnant might be harmful(for instance, if I was on antibiotics or needed tests/xrays done, etc). I have 3 beautiful children, have lost 2 to miscarriage, & would welcome a dozen more if it were possible. So, yes, I'm totally offended by your post.

I am sorrry you found my answer ofensive. I totally did not intended for it to be taken the way it was. thats the problem with computers, we can't put any kind of sound to our voices.  I won't even try to undo the damage because I have found in the past that I usually just make it worse. so please acccept my apology because that is not how I ment for my reply to be taken.

Probably because having a baby at before 18 month PO would be a mistake. It's dangerous for you and the baby. I use three forms of birth control. 1 Vasectomy 2 Women past the age of menopause 3 I get so drunk I can't remember their names. Try abstinence - it's cheap and you get more stuff done. kp
