Hi, You are so blessed not to have had b.m. problems. I have never been backed up like this in my entire lifetime. Now that , that is over with I think I need some prepration H (Sp?)
My by pass surgery was done lap. but They cant do the plastics that way. Nope they just have to cut everything off. I must say even though it hurts like all get out. I do think it will be worth it when alls said and done. I just want the done part to get here ~ like now. LOL

oh so you are recovering from the plastic surgery? I wasn't aware. I know that is in my future and am not sure i am looking forward to it. I am sure it will be worth it in the end. too bad someone cant just invent a shrink wrap Lol I dont think i will do my arms. I have been told that hurts the most and leaves a horrible scar. guess i will invest in mid sleeve tops. lol Best blessings and prayers for your comfort and recovery
Yep, I had a full abdominalplasty and a bilateral (sp?)breast lift. I'm feeling a bit better today, but I'm awfully tired. I had my gastric by pass 2yrs 7mos ago, lost over 200 pounds and was approved for my plastics. My surgeon said I hit the jackpot, because my insurance covered everything I had done. they usually only cover a tummy tuck that removes the bottom two inches of skin. I am blessed : )

Hi Shannon,
Guess I lucked out there. I was drain free when I came home. Only had one on each side of my breasts : ) I feel much better since I finally pooped

Yes, it is painful, but oh so worth it. I would suggest REALLY staying on top of the constipation issues. After my first TT ( yes, I've now had a second, revision), the constipation and hemorrhoid pain was almost as bad as the incisional pain. I was eating stool softerners like M&M's, if I ate M&M's. Second time around I was prepared, Duloclax suppositories for when it was really bad, daily Metamucil, Milk of Magnesia, and stool softeners. The constipation was so much less the second time adding these other things. Try to have a daily BM so it doesn't ever get too bad.
Once your drains are gone, you will feel so much better, but this surgery really kicks your you know what. Best of luck with your healing.

Oh thank you. I completely forgot my surgeon said to get a bottle of metamucil and use it everyday. A trip to the store sounds in order here.
