Well, I get to cross of another one of my life goals.  I rode my first bike century (100 miles) yesterday.  It took me 7 1/2 hours with about 6 1/2 actually riding and the rest for various breaks and fixing a flat.  There was a point when I didn't think I could do that -- man 10 months and 200 pounds later and I'm off doing lots of crazy things!  --Sax

Good for you! You still smell like used reeds and bassoon bocals. kp

What an awesome goal to have accomplished. You weren't part of the lower Michigan ride that stopped through Sturgis were you? I rode 30 of the miles(the section WEst of town with all the hills- not the best idea) for cancer awareness- my husband didn't think I could make it and, I opened my mouth and said, yes I can, and a bet resulted. Needless to say, The American Cancer Society will be the beneficiary of my husband's non- believe. I was slightly sore for tennis today,. but, I still made glad I did it.. Way to go Sax.. You have some pretty high ranking goals is this is only 10 months out. Great results and isn't it great to be able to do these things? God Bless. AmyH (wigglypoo)

My aunt and uncle do the palm every year.  I've always had work commitments during this week preventing me from doing it.  I may ride it next year, I hear it's a nice ride.  Daily rides are about 30-50 miles with options for longer rides -- a casual cyclist can enjoy it. --Sax

Dude,  that is, like, amazing.  I couldn't do that if you paid me a million dollars!  You should be so proud of yourself!!
