Awwwwww...where was Max?  Road trip?  Did someone say road trip?  We are crazy and "road trippin'" to Florida tomorrow, with two dogs....LOL!  Should be fun.  Rex loves to ride in the car.  Ruby freaks out, but she'll be taking her anxiety pills that make her sleeeeeeeeeepy, for the ride.  Getting ready to have my morning coffee.  Then I'm heading to the inlaws, again, to do some more work for them.  Hopefully, it'll dry up enough for us to mow this afternoon, when I get home.  Other than that, my day is pretty much the same!  Enjoy it!  Tina

Good Morning Michiganaders, Todya is my son's birthday. He is 1 now. I am so happy for him. His party is Saturday so I am busy with that today and tomorrow and Saturday. I gotta make provisions in case we are rained out. I hope not though because my house is too small for so many people. Right now I am packing in unnecessay calories due to a man at work celebrating the birth of his first child. I am not over indulging though, and I figure since its early I can work off the calories anyway.  Lulu's surgery is tomorrow, so let's wish her well and her sister is supposed to call me when she is out so I will post on here and let everyone know.

It's a beautiful day here in the U P.I have already been out on the deck with my coffee. The loons were especially loud this morning. The only thing that compares to  their sounds is when a flock of geese are landing on the lake,we're on their landing strip LOL, is the sound of the wind flowing between their wings.I have the pool filtering,I vaccumed it last night,it's soppose to hit 86 today so thats where I'm going to spend my afternoon. My sister gave me two books of a series, the first is called Twilght,I read it in two days.I am going to get on my air mattress float around and start  the second called New Moon..I can't put the book down, It's something  I never would have thought I'd be reading.I guess there is a movie coming out this fall based on this series.Enjoy the warm day because by Sunday it's going to be cool again, the joys of living in Michigan!

Hey there! I did the same thing with Twilight!  I am not going to give away the second book, but I will warn you it's not nearly as good as the first one.  On a scale from 1-10 the first one is like 12 and the second one is a 5.  But it's still worth reading.  I am waiting to borrow the 3rd from my friends daughter.  I never, ever read stuff like that so I was surprised that I liked it so much.  It will be perfect for reading in the pool!

I am half way through New Moon and I agree it isn't as good as Twilight. My sister is reading the third book.We trade books all the time, she got this series from a friend. She told me it was something she would never have thought she would  want to read..We like the same kind of books, when she told me it was about vampires, I thought it wouldn't be something I'd be interested in.Boy was I wrong, they are facinating.I'm half way through the second and hope she finishes the third before I'm ready for it. To anyone who likes to read this series is a MUST!!
