Time to brag,,,
Bottom of the ninth. 2 outs. Tie game. Man on second.
Who's kid (I'll give you one chance at this) steps up and drives one to left center 290 feet and brings in the run????
I'll give you a hint....
I had to buy the team ice cream after the game.
Ten 12 year olds can eat 40 dollars worth of ice cream.

"Go sell crazy somewhere else; we're all stocked up here."
Way to go Kev's kid....however...Ed and I took 14 scouts and 4 of the adults for ice cream after bagging close to 4300 new phone books...that one cost us over $85. But all told, the phone books being bagged and delivered by Troop 105 (DelMarVa Council)brought them over $680 to be spilt between each scout. The $85 ice cream bill was worth it.

They don't have to be kids to make a Mom proud. My 35 yr. son plays church league softball. Two years ago, bottom of the 7th, two outs, bases loaded, two strikes on him, he hit a ground shot to right field and they won the league championship. Was Mom proud --- you bet! Was son thrilled -- he did a cartwheel! Mind you, he's 6'5" tall and weights 290 lbs.!!!!
Just gotta luv 'em!

Done! Your Ticker:
Yep,
I remember those softball/baseball days before Michigan decided to change there seasons and now he has to choose between baseball and golf.. I so loved the team [sports) and buying the team Dairy Queen after a big win.. Savor those moments. I just don't get as big a thrill following my son for 18 or 36 holes on the golf course where one wrong shot can put him(soley) out of contention). Still wish for the baseball days....I'ts just not the same thing..
