Sturgis, Mich. Support Group

As soon as I am certified with OH, there will be a new
support group going in Sturgis. This will be open to all
WLS pre-op, post-op, and those investigating having the surgery, as well as any one else who is interested.

Watch for more details in a month or so.....

That is great that you are starting one in Sturgis! I grew up in Sturgis. Graduated from high school there. I lived right on Chicago road.  Brings back memories seeing your post. Do you have a lot of WLS people in that area? I still have family in Constantine and Sturgis.

Yes there are probably a dozen or so people that I know of that have had or are planning to have WLS......besides
there are probably some that don't advertise it too.

What was your maiden name?? Or maybe it was Preston.

I've lived here for 30 some years, first on East Hatch
over by Thurston Woods, and now on Farwell right close to the High School. My son, Dan Root, graduated in 1990.
He now owns his own business, Tri State Security, a locksmith company.

So glad to hear from you and I'm really excited about getting this support group started....have to complete my certification first, but at least I've made the first step.

I plan to put a big ad in the Sturgis Journal and the
Gateway Shopper (will try to get sponsorship for that) so
be watching ......it's going to be a couple months because
of my training first.
