Um, Hello! It's Friday!

My sis and bro-in-law moved to Tucson almost a year ago.  They were gonna move to Mississipi or Alabama.  They were checking out the area about three weeks before Katrina hit, so they decided to head west.  They built a house.  I think they'll be moving in soon.  She tries to tell me it's not hot.  lol  She just keeps saying...like every other person living in the desert...that "It's a dry heat."  I always tell her, "Yeah, so is my oven.  It's still HOT!"  I'm hoping to go visit her during my winter or spring break at school.

Ok girls, that sounds like a call to go to the mall in Windsor to me!  We can stop at Tim's on the way!

Well I can tell you that Tim's would be worth the drive for sure.  The mall is another story.  Dinky and too expensive.  Save your shopping for the States. 

You don't go to Windsor to go shopping.  You go to Windsor to go to Danny's.  LOL!  Ya know...naked, male strippers...I've never been there personally, but I've heard things.....Coffee and strippers.  Let's go!  Oh wait, don't we have to have passports now? 

You don't have to have passports just yet.  As long as you have your birth certificate and driver license, you will be fine.  I can tell you how to get to Danny's!  I pass by it everytime I go home in Windsor.  I was there when I was a youngin!  They didn't check I.D.  My GF's and I were cracking up.  I don't think I ever laughted so hard in my life.  Have no idea what it's like now. 

Well, maybe we SHOULD make a trip to Windsor!  I have seen male strippers twice in my life and they weren't good ones.  And, like you, I laughed.  One had a hairy ass...it was gross.  LOL!  But I've heard things about Danny's....my nieces have been there!  Tsk Tsk!

My own mother took me and a GF to see the Chippendales.  That was fun...they were good looking!

Good morning everyone.

The first 4 days of Kindergarten are behind us. YEAH!!!!!!!!!  

No real plans for the weekend, my normal Saturday errands and Sunday house cleaning and laundry.  I do have plans for a "date" with my 5 year old on Sunday at Burger King.  He just loves the mac and cheese and apple fries they now offer.   He gets to play, and I get to read for a while, and all is well with the world. 

It actually has been a good week.  My office secretary had her lapband done on the 26th and I am trying to be very supportive of her.  It is also getting me back on track and I have dropped 4 pounds since Monday.

I'm just working, but have been very distracted today.  Tomorrow I'm hoping to go to the BlueGrass Festival in Auburn Hills.
