I am still on full liquids and soup is my main fare these days......just wondering if I could have brocolli cheese soup if I strain all the chunks out?  Opinions please......

I did broccoli cheese soup on full liquids, or you could even just do cheese soup. I did filter the chunks out and sometimes I just made sure to scoop the cheese out of the bowl w/o straining the chunks.

Thanks Shannon. I am down to 180 and have been holding there for the past couple of months. How's everything going for you?

I try to go to the Thursday night ones, but I am finding that they seem to be discussing the same things over and over. They have been trying to break them up more, but it seems that many post ops tend not to show up. Also Patti started covering the Saturday and Pam covers Thursdays, so the types of discussions/content seem to differ quite a bit.

Thanks for asking this question...I was just wondering the same thing.  I am 12 days post-op.

In my case the soups with either creams or cheeses were just way too rich for my system. Whereas I didn't dump I did feel like hell for a while when I tried them. My favorite was Wendi's chili. Someone on the site had suggested it to me and at first I was worried about the hamburger in it but it tasted great and sat very well. A large bowl was good for about 3-4 meals the first couple of months. Good Luck! Rich
