besides to actually use it for exercise and not a clothes rack.....

I am looking for one.  I want a good one.  But I don't want to spend a ridiculous amount on it.  I'm not a tiny little girl, 5'9" so I need something that can handle all this woman!!!  LOL!!!    I want to power walk on it.  Maybe even get back to interval training - running, walking.  If my back can handle it.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Hi Carey, We have a proform and I'm 6'3' and a large man and it will work me out .... iFIT® Training system works the heart at 85% so you can burn more fat.

Hey Randy!

My co-worker has a ProForm and she really likes it.  Thanks for the link.  I'm going this weekend to look them.  A friend of mine has connections and is trying to get me a good deal.  Can't wait to get it.

I'm planning on it!  I used to be the tread mill queen at the gym.

Oh, the seminar went great.  We had a very good turn out.  Over 20 people showed up.  They had a lot of interest, many questions.  It was a very long day though....I was one tired girl.

When buying a treadmill,

look for a 20 X 55 platform. No less than that.
At least 2 hp motor.
At least a 3 year warranty.

I bought my Nordic Track at Sears about 2 years ago. Have kicked the snot out of it and have not had a single problem.  well worth the investment. I think I paid around $1200.

Can you give me any info on the Windsor support group?  I am from Chatham and it's too far for me to drive to the US for meetings and I'm interested in the Windsor group.

Hey Dawn!

How are you?  Long time no see.  Well, that is exactly what I got.  I went to a fitness place in Birmingham and they sell gym grade equipment.  It is actually being picked up and delivered to my place now.  It was $1299.00 and after the sale and discount I got - the total was $900.00.  I just need to remember to start out slow so I don't trigger my back spasms.  I used to be the tread mill queen at my gym.  Too hard to workout on someone else's schedule.  Need to do it when it's convenient for me.
