Good Morning Michigan, Looks like it going to be colder this weekend. I'm drinking my old stand-by and thinking about what I'm going to do. What things are on your honey do list? Maybe help me get things done before my wife asks me.....lol

Good Morning Michiganders,
Don't you just love the fall colors, they have been so beautiful this year.  It just makes you feel like its great to be alive!  Now mind you I am about a month lover of the LOOK of snow, then I am done, I can't deal with the cold.  Other than that Michigan is a beautiful state to be in.

My honey do list?  Hummm. "My honey doer" isn't very receptive to physical work and thats the things I need done, (he is all about business).  I need a couch moved out of the basement to my office just a few miles away, I have been asking for 5 months for help doing it now, and geez.....I am about ready to hire "2 men and a truck".  Really though he did take care of all the outside furniture last weekend.

Today I am going to the office, I never got their yesterday.  I met up with a OH friend for coffee and we got carried away talking and 4 hours later realized that
time had just flown by.  It was so great to get to know her.  What fun.

Hola!  It's Thursday, which means it's The Office and Survivor night in my house!

Yesterday I had a HORRIBLE day at work.  I did my usual 'fat girl' coping strategy...I decided I was going to get fast food for lunch!  I drove to that Wendy's and got............... a salad with reduced fat ranch dressing.  I was laughing at myself all day because yes, I know that fried chicken is bad for me, but it was funny to realize that pre-lifestyle change I would have gotten something from Taco Bell, then hit McD's for a Big Mac, large fry, large diet  coke, and an ice cream cone to eat on the way home.   So even if I gave in and let food comfort me, I didn't go totally crazy.  I'm a glass half full kind of person

Oh yeah, and, while walking the dog about 11pm yesterday a bat flew up from somewhere right at my head!  I just happened to be walking down the street from a house that had tons of weird, scary halloween stuff i in the front yard.  I never knew I could run that fast!

So that's my stories for the day....what's up with you guys?

OMG, a bat?  I would have had a flippin heart attack!!!!  This has been a eat out everday kind of week.  Everyone wants to take me out to dinner or lunch for my B-day.  Trying to get it all done this week so I can get back on track.  Been trying to make decent food choices.  I have not been going crazy or anything.  It was nice to be with friends I have not seen in a while.  But being out late two nights in a row is killing me right now.  I need a nap!!!  LOL.

We're having one of those "eat out every night" kinda weeks, too.  It's not because of anything special.  It's just because I just haven't felt like making dinner.  Nothing sounds good.  Plus, it's the end of the marking period, so that means it's report card time....fun!  So, most of my evenings are spent catching up on grading and entering grades.  Hubby and I ride together, so we have the "what do you want for dinner" conversation in the car and stop and get something to take home.  I'm in a pizza kick right now.  I'd be happy with a slice of thin crust pizza for dinner every night!  LOL!!! And I've lost 7 pounds in the past couple weeks....don't ask me how!

I know what you mean by not knowing what to eat.  It's like you know you should eat but nothing sounds good.  Well good for you losing 7 lbs.  That's awesome.  It's so hard when the honeymoon period is over.

Last night, I thought I would be good and actually make dinner at home.  Something got stuck and I've been miserable ever since.  Ugh....so much for trying to be good!  LOL!

Tina,

Someone recommened Papaya enzyme to me for things that get stuck.  I get it at GNC for 2.99 for 90 tablets.  3-6 tablets at a time depending on what it is helps tremendousely, and they are chewable and taste good.  The pain is usually gone in a hour or so.

I have a major problem with mushrooms.  I really try to avoid them, but backslide every once in a while because I like them.  It never fails, usually always get stuck and I pay the price.

Hope your feeling better

Pam

Thanks, I knew there was something out there like that.  I couldn't remember what it was.  Honestly, it's never been this bad.  But I did lots of tea in the past couple hours and it seems to have alleviated itself.  I was able to eat 1/2 a pbj for lunch.  Which is good, because all I've managed to eat to that point was a saltine.

Good thing we are still taking the MEAP.  I don't think I could've been my normal, "teachy" self.  LOL!
