Thursday Morning Coffee !!!
We are doing pizza tonight at home. Thin crust, one 1/2 cheese and 1/2 veggies for me and my son, and one with the works for my hubby and MIL. My son loves to cook, so he is in charge of "sprinkling" everything.
I am sure my little guy will talk me into making brownies or cupcakes too, thats ok because he like to make things and give it to family members. My dad is always willing to get these gifts from him.

We write our own destiny. We become what we do.
Hubby and I have always preferred thin crust pizza, but after surgery we started making our pizza on tortilla shells. It's the best. We bake the shells for about 10 minutes, then put the toppings on and then put them back in the oven. YUMMY!

I HATE BATS! I know they are VERY useful and necessary, but I always joke with my hubby and tell him that if we ever have a bat in our house, we'll have to move. We have a TON of bats out by us. I've been in my pool at dusk and watched them circle overhead. I know they are eating THOUSANDS of mosquitoes, but they just FREAK me out! As long as they don't bother me, I won't bother them.

Hello Michiganders:
Had an early appt. at the car repair shop to get the van checked out for a "major" repair.....this was a "second
opinion" type look at to see if what my dealership actually told me was true.....sorry, sometimes they take big advantage of single women... anyway, it is true - the intake manifold gasket is leaking coolant -- he even took me to the van and showed me where it was leaking....a very nice mechanic..So next tuesday it's going in and the repairs will be over $850! Thank God I have the money but had planned to use it for something else....that will have to wait now.
Went to Wally World as I needed Flintstone's - gosh they're almost $14 a bottle. I also bought some of the new energy efficient light bulbs....they're expensive but guaranteed to last a long, long time and so much less
energy used. I am gradually getting my whole house changed over to them.
It's a beautiful morning here in southwest Michigan, and the colors are so brillant. It was really cold this morning -- low 30's and they are calling for "snow" on Monday. I'm not ready for winter -- have all my yard work to do yet because I still have (or had) flowers in bloom.
Have a good day all....

P.S. going to make a big pot of chili....doesn't that sound good?

Done! Your Ticker:
We'll be at my inlaws for the weekend. Leaving Friday after work. It's the weekend of the annual county wide treasure hunt that we do. My husband and I, along with my sister and Bro-in-law, have been doing this treasure hunt together for about 20 years. It's a blast. We look forward to it, every year.
I don't keep a honey-do list. Nor does my husband. We know what needs to be done. If a list gets made, it's for both of us.

Good afternoon everyone! I am finally back in the office. I had my 6 week post op check today and that went well. Now I am just trying to get through my emails and run some reports that I normally run in the mornings.
My honey do list is pretty darn long...involves painting, tearing up carpet, cleaning the garage....just to name a few...
