Pre-Op tests traverse City Michigan RNY

 What can I expect at the pre-op?  Dr. Nizzie in Traverse City Michigan?

I think I know most of it but need to be informed to feel better.

sorry I dont have an answer to your question - just wanted to wish you well - only 21 days until your surgery! I used to go to school near traverse city ( Midland Michigan) so please be careful as they can get some snow.

Did you go to the seminar for the Traverse City office?  I did in September, but can't remember if they said specifically what was required for pre-op.

I didn't end up having my surgery in TC, but went to Virginia to have it done.  But, if I remember correctly, they required pretty much the same thing as far as tests goes.  If you're referring to what the pre-op Dr's visit will be like - sorry, can't help you there. 

I had to have an endoscopy, colonocopy, stress test, sleep test, blood work, psych evaluation, nutritionist counseling, and I hope I didn't leave anything out....

I had Dr. Nizzie as my surgeon, I LOVE him!!!  Is this your first appointment for pre-op with him?

 No this is the last exam before going on the pre-op diet before surgery January 23.

I am happy to hear you are pleased with Dr Nizzie. I leave today for Traverse City, my appointment is tomorrow.

Dr. Nizzi is great he always takes the time to answer any questions or concerns that you might have.   I think everyone at grand traverse surgery makes your expierience a positive one.
