Topic: Detroit peoples....come ZUMBA with me!
My boyfriend teaches Zumba and he is giving 2 FREE classes so I thought itd be a cool opportunity to invite those of you who live in the Detroit, Michigan area and meet you guys at a workout thing instead of an "eating thing" since normally when people meet up they eat and well, some of us dont like to do that for social gathering anymore! They are as follows (and I will for sure be at both!):
Wednesday Nov 2: 10am to 11am
Saturday Nov 5: 6:30pm to 7:30pm

both will be held at Yoga 4 Peace
13550 Dix-Toledo Rd
Southgate, MI 48193

Topic: To much time on my hands
I am glad to be off work recovering but there just seems to be to many hours in the day. I am up early every day. I have done tons of laundry(slowly). Grocery shopped twice. Made several special dinners for the kids. I can not sit or stand for to long. I have watched so much television that my eyes are going to burn out of my head. Reading is not an option. Can not stay in one place that long. With the tv I come and go. Love that pause button.  I itch and that compression garment is driving me nuts. Plus I think I pulled a muscle in the palm of my hand when I was getting out of bed today. It is swollen, it hurts and it is warm. err.

Well these are my complaint of the day. Thanks for listening.

Topic: RE: Thyroid Cancer
I had thyroid cancer when I was 29 (14 years ago). I first had my right side of the throid taken out 6 weeks later the left. They were unsure if it was cancer , It was. After 2nd surgery I had  radiation. Then 5 years after that I had second dose of radiation. I am considered cancer free now.  Thyroid cancer is actually one of the top five cancers that a doctor would pick for themselves if they had to have cancer. So that is a good thing.

Stay strong. You can get through this and be a stronger person.

Best Wishes

No the insurance did not cover the butt. I decided to have it done because I had such great tailbone pain. The insurance did cover the panni. I never spend money on myself. Always the kids. After thinking long and hard I decided to take advantage of already being in the or room and such. (always thinking on how to get the best bang for my buck) . I tell you and all who follow, they said this was just an overnight stay and I would be fine. So not true. I have a high high pain tollerance. The first 36 hours were horrible. Not the pain but the weakness and inability to do anything besides go to the bathroom. I was so weak from no protein. No eating after midnight day of surgery. The night of surgery they gave me salad with dry chicken on it. Breakfast they gave me fresh fruit and oatmeal. So I was so weak from lack of protein it was terrible. When I came home I walked from the truck to the porch and sat down. Then from porch to just inside of house. Then halfway down hallway to bathroom. Then from bathroom to  recliner chair with lift in it. I had people on both sides of me holding me up and was the whitest shade of white. I am no day lilly but this kicked my butt. so all of you planning a panni and a butt lift make sure you have plenty of help for at least 5 full days.

The doctor told me to use Aquaphor on my incision and drain hole sites. Yes she said it would take a long time to see end results and for healing. But I can feel my hour glass waist and my hard tush. My stomach is still swollen but much better than before surgery.
I am so happy I done this.

Your insurance didn't cover the butt lift did it?  I'd love to have my gobbler done too, but I'm going to be happy with what I've gotAt least I think I'm going to be satisfied.  I'm putting mederma on the incisions to help reduce the redness and scaring in general.
I was thinking the same thing about having it done so close.  Great minds think alike!
Hope each day is better for you.  Did your Dr. say it would take a whole year to be totally recovered?  Mine did.  :c(   but it's worth it for sure.

It is what it is.
If He brings you to it, He'll bring you through it...

I am feeling better. I am at home now. (thank goodness) I stayed a week at my folks house. Needed the help. I could never have done this on my own.  I still have 1 drainage tube. Hope to get that pulled friday. Still wereing the spanx. Stomach still swollen but my butt is coming along nicely. That sounds funny to say. I have a long belly button not round, just greatful to have one. It would look funny not to. I know we dont need them but still looks odd.

Glad you are doing well Jani. Funny we had it done so close together.

Welcome back and glad to hear you are doing so well.... Sure does sound like things are going good for you... I don't have too much of a sugar intolerance either, unless you put a wine cooler in my hand, then I am out for the count with a belly ache and sweating and everything.... It isn't pretty....  But most things I have no problem with... in moderation of course....

Congrats on the Panni and it sounds like you are healing well..... Hope you continue on a great journey....
