Just a Update on ME!

Hi Gang Just a friendly update on ME ME ME!! I am mainly a lurker, & decided that maybe I should post every now & then. I am right at 3 months post-op (20th) and I am down -54 lbs since surgery. And -30 before surgery (July to Sept), for a total of -84. I am feeling good these days and my energy is defintely coming back. I find myself doing more & wanting to go more places. I don't go back to see Dr Cleveland until March 3rd, 2005. So, I must be doing good!! I want to take this time to WISH EVERYONE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR! I am happy to say that I am going into a NEW Year weighing less than I have in a long time. And this is the first year that I can remember that I haven't had to make the New Year's Resolution (I am going to go on a diet and stick with it)........But, I am going to make a New Year's Resolution to be a better PERSON, FRIEND, WIFE, MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER & whatever else I can be to someone! I am a new person now and will be FULL of energy by then. So, I want to do my part by making everyone's life happier & easier! I know this post is long,but I have got to say this before I bring this to a close. I want to let all my AMOS family know that I love them and that I am here for them. I love you AMOS Family. I want to let my loving & caring hubby know that I love him & appreciate what all he has done for me and with all the patiences he has had with me during my JOURNEY so far. I couldn't have done it without you! I love you Babe! I want to let me Daughters, Son-In-Law and Granddaughters know that I love them & they mean the world to me. I LOVE Y'ALL! WOW!!! You are doing great Jo!! I know that your family is proud of you....I can't wait to start losing.....I enjoyed meeting you and the others at the Meridian support group last week....everyone was so nice.....You don't look old enough to be a grandmother either!! I am 41 and have 2 grands of my own and 7 steps.....They are all my hearts....Keep up the good work girl!!!!

Hi Lori, Thank You! I am glad that you came to our support group meeting. We have alotta fun! And get to meet new people along with sharing with one another and learning from the older POST OPS.
