One cabbage patch doll. Remember the fights to get them ??? I have several Care Bears & a few Strawberry ShortCake items & Neon Crayola Crayons. Didn't Precious Moment**** big then also ? Let's don't forget Magnum PI, Matt Houston, & Hotel. Seems like that was the time that Roller Skating became very popular also.

The best part of the 80's...the all new nothing like it before MTV!!! And although Arlies is right Queen got it's start in the 70's they hit their peak in the 80's....remember Live Aid?!?!?!? And we can't forget parachute pants....ahhh all those zippers! and the two story high, 3 cans of hair spray bangs of glory! and Micheal J. Fox in Family Ties and of course Back to the Future. and there was Nickleodeon and one of my favorite shows You Can't Do That on Television...the start of slime! and in fashion you had your choice of leg warmers like Melissa said or those leggings with the elastic that went under ur foot *forgot the name of those* and you can't forget the sweater dresses. and for guys the ultra cool skinny ties or the miami vice look! then there was the slang...like oh my god like totally gag me with like a spoon! ty valley girls!

Oh, my Gosh I forgot about parchute pants. I had several of those. I remember one time my sister and I were fighting. She had on thick jeans and I had on parachute pants. My mama wore us both out. My sister didn't even cry but I bawled like a baby. Those parachute pants made the sting worse. I had the really big bangs and bad perms LOL. I look back at pictures and it cracks me up. The name of those pants you were referring to were stirrup pants. Bad Bad fashion. Melissa
