I was e-mailing Janet Rideout and now all my e-mails come back. Where are you my friend? Are you OK?

Thanks Arlies, I need a friend.You never have too many! Especially since you've been through the surgery all ready it'll be great to have someone to ask questions. Janet was from somewhere other than Mississippi but not Florida like me. I'm concerned because she was having trouble with the protein shakes. I'll keep her in my prayers and hope she'll re-connect with me. I have my 1st appointment with Dr. Ludwig on Wednesday. I'm nervous all ready. I've talked to the insurance people here in Florida and Mississippi. I want this surgery soon. I've wanted it for years but always dropped it because my family was so negative about it. I'm doing this for me, I want to feel better, I want to look better, I want to do things I've stayed away from because of my weight, like swimming.(Me in a bathing suit, you've got to be kidding. They'd think it was a beached whale.) I want to play with my grandgirls and I want to be around to see them graduate and get married and to see my greatgrands. At the rate I'm going without the surgery I may not be around then. I'd also like to get off some of these meds,darn it gets expensive!!!! Well hope I haven't scared you off with this earful. Pray for me especially Wednesday. Velna

Who me, scared??? nary a bit!!!! After all, I have met Sybil!!!!! (one of Tammy in MIssissippi's alter-egos!!!) I am so sorry your family is negative about this. It is the best thing I've ever done. DH was behind me...kiddies were scared about it...brothers and sisters were behind me, tho my brothers were very skeptical...Now they are believers!!! Come back and chat amongst us! We will adopt you as a Mississippi Turnip especially since you are seeing Dr. Ludwig. And we luvs our Turnips!!! I will keep you in thought and prayer! Smooch Arlies
