IS ANYONE SUFFERING FROM INDIGESTION
The ONLY thing that has ever worked for me is a prescription for prevacid 30 mg. Workes like a charm. I have taken it for years daily. After surgery now I only need about one per week. Ask your dr about it, and mine always has samples as it is very expensive. I dont think it is any more than nexium though
Lisa,
You need to contact the doctor. My doctor told me that indigestion is a good sign that you are developing an ulcer and it is common side effect with the surgery. He can treat it and hopefully it hasnt formed a sore yet. Dont delay!!!!
Another thing I learned from reading Susan Maria's book (bariatriceating.com) is when you get sick, either throwing up or
upset stomach, you need to drop back to clear liquids and the protein shakes, and give your system a rest. If I am feeling bad and a little queasy, this is what I do and I find that I feel a whole lot better very quickly.
The doc gave me prevacid when I was released from the hospital, supposed to take it for 3-4 months, The price is absolute highway robbery unless you have good insurance! $120 at Walmart!!!!! I almost fainted when they told me the cost!
Hope that this helps!
Cheryl
