67 Days until October Bash!!

Arlies is hosting a big bash up there in her neck of the woods. She can give you all the details. She started planning it back in July, I am not sure of all the details, other than it is in a State Park and some of us have already booked hotel rooms to come up there for the weekend, it is Oct. 29. I am very excited. It is going to be really fun. I am not sure why we got rooms cause I dont really see any of us going to sleep... haha... I wonder if they have TV's... I can bring a DVD or VCR so the kids can watch movies and not pester us.. haha... I will go check out the web page and see what all is in our rooms. I think Becky is staying with me in our room since my hubby cant make it. I gettn so excited!!

ACCCKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!! I have not done one thing to get ready!!!!!!! I am excited tho! Jo Walker is doing a costume pageant, Redd Foxx is doing a style show type thingie, Missy LIssy is the poker lady, .....I wanna do bobbing for apples, a fish pond, and will gladly take any and all help and suggestions and ideas! Could we possibly do a wiener roast and marshmellow roast? (sounds like Jay to me - you know fire AND food!) I know most of us can't eat that stuff, but the kids can....Help me!!! Help me!!! Jay would be more than happy to do something like that, but I doubt they will let us build a fire in the state park, we will probably have to build a fire inside of a grill or something. We need to find out if there are any grills in the park that we can build a fire in. It sounds like a good idea to do marshmellows and hotdogs for the kids. We could do that Saturday evening for the ones that stay. Looking forward to it! Rhonda

We can have grills but we can't have them on the paved area of the patio of the room....Could we just use a grill - charcoal type for the hotdogs and marshmellows? Do ya'll have one? I just thought Jay and fire went together nicely!! BTW, I think Missy Lissy's John should be in charge of music and the sock hop.......I hear he and Missy Lissy are always dancing around....... They are nuts! If we let them plan the dance it will be all 80s music which is totally cool for us.. We are 80s freaks.. I am excited.

Oooo there's gonna be poker! Right on! Btw, they aren't doing anything silly like trying to have Halloween on Sat. this year are they? Anyone know? That would make me sad cuz all my huge family is coming to my house for trick or treating stuffs so I kinda have to be here lol So hopefully that doesn't happen cuz I am wayyyyyy excited about the bash!
