Good Morning Mississippi

It's overcast this morning in NWFlorida My husband went to get gas in the car this morning as there were long lines yesterday(this area believes in early preparation, Ivan and Dennis taught us well) According to the latest (5 am) plottings Katrina is to make landfall in Louisiana. If she dumps alot of rain in New Orleans it will be bad. That means that Mississippi will be on the East side so batten down the hatches, stock up on water and batteries. Pray for whoever is affected by this storm.It may be a 4 before landfall Melissa: appreciated your comment . I don't smile all the time but I figure life is too short to be serious all the time. Hey Christine. Yeah, well this one looks like its gonna hit New Orleans if it stays on path. Not good for us down here in the Biloxi region. I'm north of I-10 so I wont flood but the rain and wind are still going to be a doosey. I 'm tempted to not leave, right now I am waiting out the next 18 hours. If it comes down to it, I might go west after all. The NOLA evacuation last time for Ivan was hell. Took me 12 hours for a 3½ hr trip. NO THANKS!!! That makes me just ill thinking about it and I don't plan on being there again for that long on the interstate, parked like a turtle. Anyways. Dawn and Sara are leaving for sure, I talked to them. I will stay till the cows come home And then leave if they tell me to. Darn it. This is when I wonder WHY do we live here? oh yeah.. the NAVY made me move here HAHA just kidding girls..
