Hey everyone I just wanted to let yall know that were of and did not have any damage at all thank GOD! We even have power back already. God blessed us GRACIOUSLY!!! I mean the skirting on the trailer wasnt even touched and every other trailer in the park is missing there skirting at least but ours and maybe 1 or 2 others, but my family on the coast *biloxi* and *wiggins* my cousin in biloxi completely lost her 3 story house and her expaidition, it was swiped to the foundation, and my other cousin in wiggins completely lost the roof off her house and the roof off of her business. My mom, grandpa, and aunt all lost there houseboats on the pascagoula river in Vancleave. They completely cant find 2 of them and they believe they know where my mom's may be *about 50 feet in the woods about 500 feet from where it was anchored. and my birthplace of biloxi is demolished. im sitting here squalling watching the news footage. I just cant believe it. Im still in shock. my mom and grandparents are fine in mobile, and as far as i know everyone else is alive and well, BY THE GRACE OF GOD NO ONE LOST THERE LIFE, SO WE WERE TRULY BLESSED! Please continue to pray for me and my family that we can overcome this devisation and for the rest of the families that have lost sooo much in this horrible storm.
God Bless,
Angie Bea
Hey Tomanip!
We have been without power for two 1/2 days now in Richland, MS. Finally decided to load the husband and boys up and drive to my Mother In-Law's in Texas! Luckily she has a computer and I am able to check on everyone now. At home there was no ice anywhere, and any gas stations that had power either were out of gas or there were a line of cars waiting. My husband had to go to north Jackson to get gas. He sat in line for 1 1/2 hours only to get up to the station and they ran out of gasoline. So he had to go over to another store and start all over waiting in line, finally he was able to get gas for the truck. But thank goodness everyone is safe and we just have to stay calm.
After we got to Monroe. LA the gas stations were much better and you could go right up to the pumps - and God bless them, they had ice too! Needless to say we will be staying in Texas until Sunday. Since all the grocery stores in our area had to throw away all of their meat and frozen goods (because of loss of power) we have brought coolers with us and when we head home we will pack some meat in ice to bring home (our power came on after we left to go to Texas - my neighbor called to tell us). I also brought 4 gasoline cans to fill up so I can put gas in my car when I get home!
Everyone who was in the path of this terrible storm, you and your families are in our prayers!
Marci
