Need Guidance for WLS

I am looking forward to have wls. I have had my pysh and nutrition eval. Now, I have a problem with my medical records. I currently do not have a pcp. I just need to know what do I need to do. I really need as much information you guy can help me with. If anyone has pittman & Asso. please share info also. Thanks

Hi Susie... Welcome to the MS board. I did not have a regular PCP either. My OB did all my referrel stuff...(I cant spell this for some reason)... He had all my weight records and notes in his chart of things we talked about. I drafted a letter and he signed it.

Hello, Susie I have Pittman & Associates Insurance. I didn't have a PCP either so I just sent in all my OB/GYN records. I am currently waiting to hear if I have been approved or not. My letter was sent to Pittman on 12-06 and Becky (at surgeon's office) told me that it usually took about three weeks to hear back. It sure would be a nice Chirstmas gift! Good luck & let me know how Pittman treats you....I have been looking for someone else who has the same insurance as me. Madonna
