VENTING - TAX

I am sooooo pi$$ed! It does not pay to make good money! I married last year and am not used to having good income. However, now that my accountant did our taxes....... My income put us over the $59,000 mark for the increase on taxes. She started figuring what I make minus taxes minus childcare, minus wear and tear on car (I travel) and I make @ $10,000 a year!!!! This is ridiculus!!!!! I would be better off staying ay home! OH! wait we have bills every month! We have been budgeting for the past few months to become debt free, I LOVE DAVE RAMSEY! This just puts the fire under our butts! Just had to let it out. Babette

Dave Ramsay is wonderful isn't he!? I love to listen to him. He is so good. Taxes will make you really ill. We are self emp and dread April. It is usually thousands and seems so useless to give the gov't so much of your hard earned money. We give to charity alot and that helps. Hope it all works out. Jane

Anyway, if I gave my life's testimony, I would talk about Jesus and Dave. He is awesome. His program is not hard! You simply budget and he shows you how. I budget in a manicure and a movie and supper out with friends. Budget does not mean broke!!! It means you make your money work for you and you tell it where to go before it is gone. IT WORKS! This year they gonna eat our lunch! I got 2 1/2 years back pay on disability....and no taxes cause disability isn't taxable UNTIL you reach a certain income level....and guess who is well above that level? Yep....I shiver in fear just thinking about doing ours this year.... Smoochies ARlies

Yea! We will have to pay an ungodly amt this year as in every year. We both have extra taxes withheld and will still pay to Uncle Sam. 2006 is the first year since we've been married (11 yrs married) that we will be debt free except house note, car note, and RV note. It's a great feeling! Now I'll be adding a wls debt but it'll be well worth it.
