Ever since the Mississippi coast got blasted by Hurricane Katrina, there just isn't as much to do or see anymore. Except for the casinos of course. The casinos do have some pretty good food. I am not on the coast, but maybe someone local will come on here and see your post and know of a really good place to get seafood that isn't at a casino. I hope you enjoy your visit to Mississippi.

Congratulations...YOUR day will be here soon...Take it easy...make sure you get your liquids in and take lots of short walks...(little strolls...they really help with the "gas pains")
My son lives in Hattiesburg...and we get down there periodicly...well have to try and "get together"

I am a RNY post op 7 weeks out. Enjoying being on the losing side. We are here visiting our son and his wife and would like suggestions for activitives we should see or do to really get the Mississippi experience. Good places to eat especially seafood. Places to see and visit. Anything and everything that you might think of that would be enjoyable for a family.
