Thanks!!!! Please do let me know how it goes. Which hospital are you going to? I was flipping channels last night and found Big Medicine. I had never heard or seen it but it was a marathon of sorts and I was absolutely hooked!. I had to really force myself to stop watching at 130 this morning it was so fascinating.

Where are you located? I live in Jackson and had the surgery Aug. 29, 2005 (the day Katrina hit). I would welcome talking to you concerning the surgery. The best thing I did was have the surgery. Congradulations on your upcomingWLS! I am also a newbie here am scheduled for my WLS friday 5/23/08. I'll let you know how things go and if you like do the same. Thanks Susan, I feel the same of Dr. Avara and his staff. I'm very anxious to have the surgery behind me.... will definately be doing all suggested. I realize the importance also of follwoing the WLS guidelines. Have a great day ~ Romelle

Well thank-you DeAnna for responding I will incoporate that to my pre-op and recovery. My sister had WLS about 3 years ago but she had several complications so she had to do her recovery different then most.
You are also a beutiful lady thanks for the compliment. Wish you lived closer but I guess we could become friends here. I will update you after my surgery, I should be home by the 25 th. Have a great day ~ Romelle
