Weekends suck
I got banded on the 5th of Feb and have lost 50# pre-op included. I have been v-blogging my journey and I made a manly video for today about how I want to kick the weekend ass. I find them very difficult to stick to the plan at home doing things outside the norm.

I/ve been retired on disability since Aug, 1992 and the only difference I have on weekends is different TV shows and church on Sun. The food remains the same. I've been planning my meal portions since 01-29-09 and that keeps it simple. I can plan for changes in prospective meals if we're going to be dining out. For example, yesterday we went to a German buffet for brunch. I limited myself to a couple small meat samples, vegetables, 1 small potato pancake, and berries for desert. Since I usually don't eat a starch at lunch, I reversed my lunch and dinner food plans for that one day. We rarely go there. If I go to any other restaurant, I just assume that I'm going to be bringing half of the meal home with me.
Spare time is not a friend for those of us with addiction problems. And I believe that food can be an addiction.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.
