Bathurst Surgery

Good Luck on getting in to see Dr. S , he is really nice.  I have had my consult in October. Now just waiting for a surgery date too. He told me this winter. I guess we have to be patient . We want everything to be perfect when we get there.  I am always nervous about surgery, only have had one , but this one I can hardly wait to have it done.

There is a post that has Dr. S's fax number somewhere on the forum, not to far back either.

Scartears , you must be the first one for surgery .... you will have to go on the 2 week fast with the optifast won't you .   I check in everyday to see if anyone got a call to go yet. 

 

The secretary did confirm I saw Dr. S on his very first day, but my apt was in the afternoon so I'm sure he saw a few before me that day. He did tell me during consults that i was early on the list.

he did tell me that I needed to drink slim fast two weeks before so i'm hoping for my call soon (actually anxious!! screaming with excitement!!)

I will log on and let everyone know as soon as I receive the call! Trust me!!

I am so excited fro you guys to have already gotten a first visit with doctor Savoie that is awesome.  I hope that I have gotten my name on his list in time to be done this year coming as well I don't mind if it is later in the year as long as it is in 2009 some time.  I am crossing my fingers and any other parts I can cross for you guys.

i had my app. on Nov. 20th.  I wonder if he had app. every business days?  and how many per day???  can you see I'm anxious too!!!

I'm checking the site everyday too Monica.  I can't wait to find out!!!!  I just want a date... even if it's 2010... uh, no... I'm kidding... I want it NOW!!!

My understanding was: he had his consults on the Thursday of each week and anywhere from 6 to 10 consults each Thursday. 

Here's hoping in the early days not all the appt slots were "filled" - meaning he saw fewer people and our next appt will be very soon!

he began consults on Oct 9th and like you said, every thursday then on. I believe his first day was filled because there was someone with him when I got there and people waiting when I left...

Before I got my consult apt, the secretary told me there was aprox 20 on the wait list. This was before he began.

Well here is to hoping that in October there were approx 20 on the list I hope I am not way down on the list like in the thousands..oopps did I say that out loud.  Anyway I am pretty sure I have gotten on there in plenty of time as it has only been a few months and also the secretary was saying he has stopped meeting with people for now until everything is set up at the Bathurst Hospital next month they say.  She was also saying it depends on how many days a month he gets the OR for as well. 

Will be a wait and see for now but it certainly look promising from what the secretary said to me.
