I got a date for consent signing

Dr. Beausoliel's office just called and booked me for January 12 to come and sign the consent forms. she said I may get the surgery as soon as February. Woot!! Woot!! Omg, I am soooo excited.Oh My.

OMG that is fantastic. I signed the concents on Dec 8th. i called the office yesterday and Nathalie told me I may not get a date until February. It is amazing how the story changes day by day! I am begining to think they like playing with our collective minds!! LOL  Seriously, next month or the month after, after waiting 5 years, I am thrilled too.

You know it does not matter now if I have the surgery Feb. May. or July because either way this time next year Dec.18 2009 I will be smaller, healthier and on my way to being "normal"  WOOT! WOOT!!

Charlene or anybody who has gone for consent signing.  I go for consent signing in Jan. Is this the time we decide on which surgery I will have? My bmi is 52.9 right now and hopefully will be a little less by Jan. and I want the bypass. Is this the time you get to meet with the dietition, phsyc ,ect.?

Dr B told me that he will not do a bypass on anyone with a BMI of less than 60. My BMI was 52 when I first saw him and I asked why the band or why not BMI. He told me the above.
